Foragers Foods offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all the terms, conditions, polices and notices stated here.

By placing an order with us you are agreeing to accept these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to amend or remove any section of the terms and conditions without prior notice;

Foragers Foods is a family-run farm and food business located on the western edge of Stirlingshire in central Scotland.

USING THE ONLINE SHOP

In order to purchase a product, simply browse through the online shopping facility. Click on the GREEN basket icon next to your chosen product and select the number of units you require (the default is set at one). The item(s) will be put in your BLUE shopping basket with a running total displayed. Once you have finish shopping, click on the BLUE shopping basket button to proceed to checkout.

Your selected products will then be displayed with the price. Proceed to NEXT > to fill out your name, delivery address and any special requirements. Proceed to NEXT > where you will then be presented with delivery options based on where you live in the UK. At this point the calculated shipping cost is displayed based on the weight of your purchase. Select your preferred delivery method by clicking on the relevant option (the selected choice will turn light blue). Proceed to NEXT > where you will be presented with 3 payment options; Card Payments, PayPal and Direct Order. Follow the on screen instructions which vary slightly depending on your preferred payment option.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

1. Cards Payments
All major credit/debit cards are accepted, your payment is processed by STRIPE via their secure on-line encrypted payment system. Foragers Foods has no access to your card details at any time.

2. PayPal
All major credit/debit cards are accepted, your payment is processed by PayPal via their secure on-line encrypted payment system. Payments made via PayPal can be made with or without a PayPal account. Foragers Foods has no access to your card details at any time.

3. Direct order
When checking out you can select this option to pay by Bank Transfer, Cheque or Cash. Please send your cheque made payable to ‘The McAlpine Partnership’ to:

Please write your order number (located on your email receipt) on the back of the cheque. Your order won’t be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account.

Payment by Bank Transfer
Make your payment directly into our bank account using BACS or Internet Banking. Please use your Order ID as the payment reference. Your order won’t be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account. If paying by Bank Transfer or Cash please call or email us.

All items shown on the website are subject to availability. In the event of any items not being available we will contact you to review your order. All prices quoted are in £ British Pounds (sterling). VAT is added depending on the product. Currently all our food products are zero rated.

Please ensure that you provide accurate contact and delivery details to ensure timely delivery. We do not accept liability for any failed or late deliveries due to incorrect address details. We don’t deliver to PO boxes or shipping agent addresses.

FREE LOCAL DELIVERY

This option is available for customers living in the nearby villages. Please refer to our local delivery map for more details. Free local delivery is subject to minimum order of £15.

CLICK & COLLECT

Free local pickup is also available from Wester Balfunning Farm by prior arrangement. If you wish to use this option your payment must have cleared first and a pick up day and time pre arranged. After receiving your order we will be in touch to discuss your requirements.

Sending your order
We aim to dispatch your items within 3 working days of receipt of payment and thereafter UK delivery takes 3-7 working days. If for any reason this is not possible we will contact you.

Cancellations, Returns, Refunds
If you change your mind about any preserved product you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the items under the Distance Selling Directive. Products can only be returned if they are unopened and undamaged. Please note that in this case you will need to pay the return delivery charge however we will refund you the full amount that you have paid for the product including the original delivery charge. Unfortunately we cannot accept proof of postage as proof of receipt for the goods and the refund will be only issued if the products are received by us and are in a good condition. Please note this condition only applies to preserved products and NOT fresh produce.

Whereas every effort is made to supply high quality goods as shown, if the goods arrive damaged or are different to your order, we will send you a replacement or a refund for the full amount including the original delivery charge. For any claim to be accepted, Foragers Foods must be notified in writing within 3 days of receiving the items. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Statutory Rights
Your statutory rights remain unaffected by these terms and conditions.

Privacy Policy
At Foragers Foods we are committed to protecting your privacy and security. We will only use the information that we collect about you to process your order and to provide you with the best possible online service. Foragers Foods will not disclose customer information to third parties. You can read our Privacy Policy in full on this website.

Governing Law
Our terms and conditions are governed by Scottish law, irrespective of where you are based.
